14 And YHWH said to the snake: "Because you have done this, you shall be cursed above all cattle and above every beast of the field. You shall walk on your belly, your legs shall be cut off, you shall shed your skin once in seven years, the poison of death shall be in your mouth, and you shall eat dust as long as you live.
